Opus Petroleum Engineering Ltd is a Calgary-based consulting company that provides practical training courses and consulting for formation water interpretation for the petroleum industry. We also provide QGIS tutorials for those interested in mapping and data analysis of Global Information System (GIS) data.

Formation Waters of Western Canada

Opus Petroleum wrote the Opus Handbook. This book is a compilation of typical formation water analyses by area and formation. This data can help the users by showing them the "finger print" or characteristics of typical waters in their area.
